IE grammar

There are some good introductory handbooks on IE phonology and morphology,
even if you don't feel like reading Brugmann's hefty volumes written in
German a hundred years ago (still WORTH reading for all that!) or Meillet's
rather outdated "Introduction".

Beekes, Robert S.P. 1995. Comparative-Historical Indo-European Linguistics:
An Introduction. [A revised English translation of Beekes (1990):
Vergelijkende taalwetenschap: Een inleiding in de vergelijkende
Indo-europese taalwetenschap.]

Szemerényi, Oswald John Louis. 1996. Introduction to Indo-European
linguistics [Rev., enlarged, 5th ed.]. Oxford : Clarendon Press ; New York :
Oxford University Press. [Translation of Szemerényi (1990): Einführung in
die vergleichende Sprachwissenschaft, 4th edition, with additional notes and
references.]

Good online materials are still hard to find, but an increasing number of
IEsts is active on the webs, so have hope and patience. Preparing any
high-quality stuff takes time and effort.
