Hi Glen,
I'm afraid Mark's information is really out of date. I accessed one of
the University catelogue's on-line and there are oodles of info re
Etruscan language and vocabulary and grammar etc. I also accessed the
Museum of Bologna's Etruscan Section looking for the large stone
mentioned by Alekseev but found nothing there. Have you come across
mention of such a stone -- it supposedly has Etruscan written on one
side and Greek on the other. And info from you (or from anyone else)
would be most helpful.
