No, I don't think Greenberg is kuku, I don't think Ruhlen is, either.
But PW is such a primitive language that I couldn't express myself more
subtly. It's Ruhlen's WORK that is kuku. Very, very kuku. And
Greenberg's multilateral comparison is the root of all that Proto-World
kuku-stuff.

What wrong with multiculturaal comparisons? Should we perhaps compare
Nostratic with languges spoken on Mars? All kidding aside, since world
languges are within grasp of most folks, why do you have such difficulty
with the concept? I'm trying to figure out the root of your objection
but I'm having an extremely difficult time. Has the linguistics area
been peppered with young students or is a dying discipline?
