No, John, no. I never ever suggested anything of the sort. Please
REEEEEAAAD. I said that Uralic-Yukaghir is a Nostratic language group of the
ProtoSteppe subgrouping to which Altaic, IE and ChuckKam owe their
existence.
BuruYen (or Ket-Burushaski) is COMPLETELY seperate and part of the
DENECAUCASIAN grouping, on an equal par with Nostratic itself. Burushaski
and Ket are already accepted by many DCists as DeneCaucasian and this only
shows John's misunderstanding and persevering ignorance of long-range
comparison theories.
In conclusion, to bring the point home: BuruYen and Uralic-Yukaghir are
seperated by more than 20,000 years!!! John, you're killing me.
I can see that I'm going to have to draw a linguistic map so that you will
maybe understand this better and stop misquoting me.
