Do you?

No Meluhha connections are attested in Egypt, although the Gebel Arak
knife, faceted architecture, cylendar seals, and heroes with two lions
or dragons show an Egyptian Jemdet Nasr connection.

It has been suggested that this connection is what stimulated the
independent invention of writing in both Egypt and the Indus Valley.

Does anyone know if they have made any progress with Indus Valley
script. The last I heard they were making progress on a Dravidian
connection. Some Aryanists still clame it is an even earlier version
of Sanscrit.

Alexander, the theory of the Arabian Sea connection with Egypt would
have the connection mediated through Punt. The best place to search
for Meluhha connections then would be in Somalia, Yemen and Eritrea.
Unfortunately archaeology here has not been done sufficiently to make
jusgements in any way.
