Alexander begins to quote:
>I don't have yet a firm opinion concerning the Ghassulian culture, >but
>Enc.Brit. says: [...]
Aha! What would Enc.Brit. be short for? Perhaps none other than the outdated
"Encyclopaedia Brittanica"! See, Piotr? I'm not the only one lulled into the
unabashful use of this encyclopaedia as a respectable reference. Its
deceptive thoroughness and comprehensiveness on a wide variety of subjects
perhaps is what fools many like Alexander and I.
It would certainly seem superior as a reference to the Funk and Wagnalls,
which I will not dare insult (because it's too easy).
At any rate, carry on. We all know that AfroAsiatic is from the Middle-East
and not Africa. Nostratic in the Zagros, though? You're being somewhat
specific don't you think? Why not just about anywhere in Anatolia?
