Glen (that's who he is) writes:
The creatures you refer to aren't exactly void of strife. There are
violent tendencies amongst all animals (except koalas and sloths :) but
it's true we humans are different in that a few rotten apples may
accidentally have the power to undo all of us in a rampant fit of
malintent.
Gerry: No, I hope I didn't imply they were free from strife. But they
can't build the bomb nor can they invent the Remmington rifle. And yes,
it's their fit of malintent that's frightening. But, if we are able to
get beyond that politically correct (or is it incorrect) notion that
anything that smacks of "group" is Nazi and must be forgotten, then we
can proceed to pull the world together into one mega nation of the
world.
Glen writes (with comments by Gerry in BOLD) Egalitarianism is logical.
BUT IT DOESN'T WORK Peace and unity of thought is the result.
Destroying your brother is not an egalitarian action. NO, IT BIOLOGICAL;
BIBLICAL TOO.
The action is
therefore illogical. Your statements are irrelevant. Your thought
patterns
are irrational, your logic contradictory. Your spelling is erratic. You
will
be assimilated in the new world order. Resistance to the One is futile.
I BEG YOUR PARDON!!!
Gerry: Before I sign off I return to your original question:
Glen (That's who I am) wrote:
>What's more interesting is whether "ants" and "bees" could be >considered a >potential model of the future of our society (Back to >the hive mentality >again).
Gerry: Yes, I think they can. I think this hive mentality is the only
way to proceed; egalitarianism just doesn't work because no one is
equal. However, if the group decides to support egalitarianism, then as
a member, so will I.
