Gerry: NeLg, Poitr, and Jhon seem to be saying that none of the terms
appear to be correct. Indo-European is vague, Indo-Hittite is allusive,
and as far as I'm concerned Indo-Anatolian could hold true for Turkic
Indo sector of I-E but not for the remainder. What wrong with say
Indo-Aryan or is the term Aryan "loaded"?

Not so much loaded as already taken, since in modern usage Aryan
= Indo-Iranian.

Yeh. That's right. Then should we simply stick with the old term I-E
since most folks already know it?
