I'm looking for a Hittite herb but don't have a dictionary. The herb is called assiyatar and - in the book I found it - it wasn't known which herb might have been meant with this name. From the lexical information I have the name might mean something like 'holy maker', but that's only speculation. Does anybody on the list know more about it?

Assijatar, Gen. assijannas is a Hittite noun meaning 'Liebe, Zuneigung'. Its a deverbal noun from assija- 'beliebt sein' (the German glosses are from J. Friedrich's dictionary).
