Gerry, I do not know whether there is a relation between overflowing lines
and html settings. But most postings from cybalist are either html, or
plain ascii (so only the keys on the keyboard, basically, but maybe allowing
for some special characters (I cannot produce them, though) like a-with-a-hat
and stuff like that), but then the lines are often overflowing. Both are
hardly a pleasant read. So, I was wondering whether it would be possible that
the moderator "edits" the messages to be non-html and with proper line
formatting. Sometimes I seem to get both, an example follows.

And all this latter stuff is pretty irrelevant as well, IMHO.

Anyway just some thoughts to make this list better to read, for
me at least. I'm just on a unix system, using unix programs like elm
to read my mail. Other egroups I'm subscribed to do not have
the same problem, so I'm sure that something could be done about it.
