Hi Don. Thank you so much for the reply! In Taureg, the word for dog is
simply idi. The Azawakh is the endangered hound of these people and I am so
hoping to see it written in native script. Regards, Cindy

Hi, I'll pass this question on. I assume you want it written in
Tifinagh characters. It may even be possible even to compose this word
as text but you'd need a (Unicode) font with this script.

Is "azawakh" the word for a particular kind of dog or simply the word
in Tamashek/Tamajaq for "dog"?

NB- it's Tuareg (I corrected the subject), Burkina Faso and Sahelian
(at the risk of being pedantic - one advantage of my including the
correct spelling here is so this will get hit by searches on those terms).
