As to cursive Hebrew, I was thinking of detached letters; should, of
course, have realized the term would describe connected handwriting.

You speak of Arabic as being "fast"; that makes one wonder about the
relative speeds of different handwritten scripts.

I suspect that handwritten Tamil (cursive?) would look interesting; are
all those lovely details faithfully written, or is an attempt made to
write them, but leaving only hints? Or, is h/w Tamil simplified and
different?
