While I exepct that most Qalamites are likely to be using other browsers,
it could be helpful to know that the Opera 7.5 Composer will accept hex
Unicode directly, in-line. Key in the hex digits (no "U+"), then do Alt-x.
If your font supports the glyph, there you are. It's not bug-free, and
might not work with five hex digits, but works quite well enough to be
very useful and welcome. Whether it's Windows-only, I don't know;
probably. If you have Alt-Gr, you might need to use the left Alt key; not
sure. (My apologies for all the uncertainties!)
