Excuse my lack of puncuation. The old typewriter method did not
handle shaping and rendering. The new fonts look lovely. And I
understand that each script may encode more than one language.
So... can Microsoft ever encorporate word processing programs into
Windows that would somehow mitigate the difficulties of
the "complex" scripts? I believe developers in India are working on
these right now. I cannot say strongly enough that what is now
available in Windows may be necessary but is not adequate.
