Whatever character set is used for messages, I would like to request that
subject lines be in ASCII. I often read mail via a terminal emulator, and
it is useful to be able to see what a message is about before deciding
whether to download from the server.

By the way, and off topic, can anyone recommend a UTF-8 capable mail
program that is not Outlook?
