If I were a member of the non-existing American Academy of Standartised
Language, willing to help AmE speakers, I'd vote for "Nens" ("Nensic"). I
bet the original form used by the Nentsy themselves is "nens", not "nenets"
(would be nice to know if it's true:) and the difference between "s" and
"ts" isn't that big if we care about easy pronunciation.
