Dear Jim,

In theory the Sadd-t is in two different mss, not in one. The other one, as far as I remember, is there. At this moment I don't have the materials at hand, though. But I am confident we will locate it.

Best wishes,
Aleix

Dear Mmembers,

After spending some time looking over this MS, I find that this is only half
of it. The comments begin at folio 40b on the word "rājakumārādayo" ad Sadd
II 475,32 (1100 √divu). The two sections preceding 40b seem to be belong to
the Visuddhimagga-gaṇṭhipada by Saddhammajotipāla (Piṭ-sm 234). Hopefully,
the first half of the ṭīkā can be found. I have started transcribing and
studying folios 113b to 149a on the Sandhikappa which is about 70 pages. I'm
finding the comments are helpful and very interesting. The MS should be
referred to as UPT 499.2 and not to 499.1 which is for the
Visuddhimagga-gaṇṭhipada. There are about 800 MSS in this collection which
will eventually be made available on the web as PDF files. More information
can be found on the PTS website.

PS. The author's title for his Sadd-ṭ is Sādhujjanapamodanī.

Best wishes,

Jim
