Dear Yong Peng,

the two last sentences of Part III.

21. api, also; and; even; if; but.

(a) "Saa pi Takkasilaa-magga.m pa.tipajji; sahaayako pi'ssaa ito
c'ito ca vicaritvaa pi naaddasa." [DhA.i,326]

She also went along the road to Takkasilaa; but her companion too,
after he had walked here and there, did not see her either.

(I have no context of DhA, please correct me if I am mistaken)

------

(b) Even:

(1) "Api dibbesu kaamesu rati.m so naadhigacchati." [Dhp.v.187]

(Knowing thus, the wise man) finds no delight even in heavenly
pleasures.

Nina.
