Perhaps, since I'm in that corner of the world I should mention Ful:
'mi' "I", 'men' "we (excl.)" which fits in nicely with Miguel's
analysis of IE pronouns (and mine of the origin of this in the *man-
word, ultimately from a concept to day reflected in
Polynesian 'mana' "spirit"; perhaps I should accept a form *mW-n-,
from I could derived otherwise homeless similar roots, eg.
German 'wohnen' "live, stay" and 'Wonne' "joy").
