What in Heaven's name does /*b/ have to do with 'laryngeals'?

1) Anyone who knows anything about this subject can insert /*H/ wherever there is anything by an *e/*o Ablaut. Big deal!

I am maintaining that IE long vowels, for which 'coloring laryngeals' are CURRENTLY held responsible, are not 'color'ed but merely lengthened by 'laryngeals' so that the Nostratic vowels are preserved. So what is the point of writing [*H]'s when it is equivalent to [*:]?

2) While *b is rare initially, I have an entire essay on how IE *b shows up as IE *w but corresponds to *b in AA, etc. It is linked in the critique so if you ever read it (rather than scan it), you will not have to look for the essay.

Also, although *b is rare initially, it certainly is not rare finally, or do you deny all currently reconstructed final *b's?

The fact remains that IE **b is more unlikely

I have explained my position on *b three times! Try reading email rather than scanning it. You might learn something.

[PCR]
Because I believe that "honey" is secondary and "sweet" is primary. Could you not figure even that one out for yourself?

It is Nostratic we are talking about not IE per se. Think about that before you ask further stupid questions.
