Við þetta skildu þeir feðgar. Fór Þórólfur heim og unir stórilla sínum hlut
og þykist nú eigi sinni ár fyrir borð koma.
At that they parted, father and son. Thorolf went home and was very
displeased with his lot and thought now his oar to have gone overboard.”

Þórólfur bægifótur kom heim um kveldið og mælti við engan mann. Hann settist
