Halldor answers little here regarding (it), but bade Thorgerd decide (about
the) boy’s visit. A few days later Halldor rides

heiman og þeir nokkurir menn saman. Hann fer til Hafratinda og tók hús á

Hinn næsta vetur eftir andlát Ólafs Höskuldssonar þá sendir Þorgerður

The next winter after the death of Olaf Hoskuld’s son, then Thorgerd Egil’s
daughter sends word to Steinthor
