Bui thanked (the) king for it. Bui then went out to sea and got himself
passage to Iceland.

Það sumar er Búi fór utan gekk Ólöf hin væna með barni. Fæddi hún um haustið
mey er hún kenndi Búa
That summer when Bui went abroad, Olof the beautiful was with child. She
gave birth during the fall to a girl who she attributed to Bui (as the
father)
og var kölluð Þuríður. Esja bauð meynni til fósturs til sín og það þágu þau

Olof) accepted it.
En það sumar er Búi var í Þrándheimi fóru til Íslands Helgi og Vakur. Sögðu
þeir út þau tíðindi að Búi
But that summer when Bui was in Trondheim, Helgi and Vakur went to Iceland.
They said out (there) news that Bui
væri látinn og Haraldur konungur hefði sent hann forsending þá er engi hefði
aftur komið. En er það
