The part where they are fighting was maddening. I could not find some of
the words and had to make wild guesses at others.

Búi mælti: "Ekki sýnist mér það maður. Trölli sýnist mér það líkara."

Konungur mælti: "Vér skulum freista þín skamma stund ef vér sjáum að þú
hefir ekki við."

Búi mælti: "Þér munuð ráða vilja."
Bui spoke, “It’s up to you.”
Eftir það gekk Búi fram á völlinn og er fólkið sá hann þá mæltu margir að
það væri illa er trölli
After that Bui went forward to the field and when the people saw him then
many said that it would be bad if a troll
skyldi etja upp á jafndrengilegan mann. Þeir létu þá lausan blámanninn.
Hljóp hann þá grenjandi

að Búa. Og er þeir mættust tókust þeir afar fast og sviptust. Skildi Búi það
skjótt að hann var

er þeir gangast að og á þann hátt felldi hann froðu. Og er Búi fann það lét
hann hörfast undan að

hellunni. Blámaðurinn herti þá að af nýju og voru ógurleg hans læti að heyra
því að hann var

from the wrestling jerkin.

svo að bringspalir
Bui then snatched to himself the black man such as he was able. He
staggered then to the cave so that
hans tóku þar sem hvössust var. Þá hljóp Búi ofan á hann með öllu afli.
Gengu þá í sundur

að þetta væri mikið
