But Duel Han shouted out to those two warriors who stood nearby, and when
they came, he killed them

Nú es at segja frá því, at þeir Hólmgǫngu-Hani kvǭmu á Dauðastjǫrnu, ok
mǫnnum sýndisk, at
Now must be told that they Duel Han (and company) came to Death Star and it
seemed to people that
þeir væri hermenn norrœnir því at þeir klæddusk hvítri brynju hermannanna.

at hann vildi hjálpa konungsdóttur Leiu, “ok vér vissum eigi áðr, at hon
lifði ok vas á þessu skipi.”
that he wanted to help Leia, the king’s daughter, “and we knew not before
that she lived and was on this ship.”
“Fyr hví megum vér hjálpa henni?” segir Hólmgǫngu-Hani, “Findum sem skjótast
ráð þat es fær øss frjálsa.”
“Why should we help her?” says Duel Han, “(Let us) find as quickly as
possible that path which is able to free us.”
