Enn mælti Guðrún: "Sá er hinn þriðji draumur minn að eg þóttist hafa
gullhring á hendi og þóttist
Yet (again) Gudrun spoke, “That is my third dream that I seemed to have had
a gold ring on my hand and thought
eg eiga hringinn og þótti mér bættur skaðinn. Kom mér það í hug að eg mundi
þessa hrings
I own the ring and seemed to me improved the loss (of the previous one).

sem gull er dýrra en

helmet of gold on my head
og mjög gimsteinum settan. Eg þóttist eiga þá gersemi. En það þótti mér
helst að að hann var

treasure. But it seemed to me most that it was

þú ert hinum
