A lot of these Old double consonants are quite difficult and need practice
I have been assured by a Welsh-speaking friend that hl is pronounced
around the same as the ll in Welsh - this is effectively done by this manner
lips slightly parted and the tip of the tongue behind the two front teeth of the upper jaw
now try to hiss - this is involved when you say Welsh Town names like
Llandudno. and Dolgellau it is easier for others not Welsh-spoken to use the
commonly acceptable way of lightly using the thl to get round it - that is also good
When pronouncing the Welsh place-names I find their rules acceptable to pronouncing
the Old Norse names for places and people.

for Hlinir I believe this should be spelled Hlynir if it is a Name and there are Icelanders
with this name, but not even Google could turn up a God - I trust someone can help here
