I haven't heard the first of these, but Sveinbjörn's performance is
very evocative. He uses his own Modern Icelandic pronunciation and a
style of chanting based on the rímur tradition. The CD includes
Völuspá--minus Dvergatal (the list of dwarves) and the possibly
Christian allusion at the end--along with extracts from Hávamál and
Sigrdrífa.
