This was published in Copenhagen in 1875. It is
a simplified version (text only, leaving out the
variant apparatus) of the critical edition by
Konráð Gíslason and Eiríkur Jónsson, which was
the most prominent edition of Njála until Finnur
Jónsson published his one in 1908. Finnur's was
the basis for most more recent editions, until the
ÍF edition in 1954. The ÍF edition is still taken
to be the standard today, but there are some other
editions around, some based on ÍF, others not. But
I don't think the 1875 one is much in use any more.
