I'm looking for some kelp or help, or something.
Ok, not just Kelp, seaweed in general.

I'm doing a little one-off thing on "things which one can make out of seaweed," paint, dinner, soap, and so on, for a group which will expect me to throw in much pithy reference to Viking age norse culture.  Therefore, I'm looking for literary references to the stuff.

I have so far found  5 possible words and 4 possible saga references to seaweed.  I'm looking for more of both.

The first two words are from sagas I originally read in english, and remembered having seaweed in them, the rest are from a modern Icelandic dictionary, and only one of them showed up in any of the sagas I checked.  I'm not too picky on what type of text a reference in is quite yet, as long as it was written before yesterday, and Norse.  I'd also welcome any and all comments on the words and references I have found so far.

Possible words:
þöngulshöfuð, Söl, þari, þang, sjávargróður

Sage refs
Laxdaela saga (þöngulshöfuð, CH 75)
Egils saga (söl, the part after Egil's son dies)
FLJÓTSDÆLA  SAGA (þang, ch 5 I think, if not, its 17)
GULL - ÞÓRIS  SAGA (þang, ch 17 I think, if not it's 5)

Thanks!

(eventually I'll actually manage to post something on topic, really)
