DEAR Elisabeth /et al/:

I'M Sorry, I was just teasing you -- for splitting hairs, about names from
sagas, for swords! /Hartogari/ is modern Icelandic (hairsplitter'), of
course, the gerund being /hartogun/, both with accents over the /a/. Je
suis un -- bricoleur! Et un corbeau mauvais.... (Also, wretchedly, one has
no fonts for all the proper accents, in this detestable 'MSN' script!

ACTUALLY, Maybe, 'hairsplitter' (in proper ON) might do, eh?

ANYHOW, I am sorry for misplaced pesty witticism -- and do enjoy following
the Burnt Njal-business, when time allows!

ALL The Best & MANY Thanks For ALL Of Your Work With Old Norse On-Line!
