Welcome to Norse Course, Brandon!

Besides Haukur's site [ http://www.hi.is/~haukurth/norse/ ], there's
another online course here [
http://www.utexas.edu/cola/depts/lrc/eieol/norol-TC-X.html ].

You've probably already found these in the links section, but just in
case, there are two ON-English dictionaries online at the moment:

http://norse.ulver.com/ondict/zoega/index.html
http://www.ling.upenn.edu/~kurisuto/germanic/oi_cleasbyvigfusson_about.html#images

The first, Zoega's, is essenially an abridgement of the other, but
still useful for finding things quickly. Once you get your bearings,
you might also find this useful: [
http://www.normanniireiks.org/guilds_lore/lore/poetic/index.htm ], the
poems of the Elder Edda with a parallel English translation.

Good luck with your studies (and thanks for inspiring me to go and
read some Persian poetry in translation),
