I wasn't very clear on what I was looking for.
Valkyrja and Flygja are very specific spirits or
entities that serve that function. However I am
looking for a word that would describe a person who
serves this function. Such as a Shaman.

In the general shaman community the words "psychopomp"
or "deathwalker" are used. However I am having a hard
time finding such a word in Old Norse. If such a term
even exists.

I did try using daudivegr, however I am thinking that
perhaps I want journey of the departed. vegsálaðr?
sálaðrvegr? Nor sure what order to put them in.

Or maybe soul-journey sálvegr? That's simpler but not
quite the same.

Also, I have no clue what sounds these special
characters make particularly the letter ð.
