Hi there Patricia,

Relatives we name "SkyldMenni" we say they are "skyld" okkur
he is "skyldur" , she is "skyld" and the chilren is "skylt.
"Skylda" is obligation and the plural form is "Skyldur"
Now we are familiar with the Welfare state.
Before our realatives were our obligation. Ethics.
Near kin or most related are those that share at least one great-
great-grand parent.

In nouns one relative "einn skyldur" equals
obligations/duties "skyldur"

Ethical rhyme?

Thank you

to show gratitude both as a Kinsman and an obligation
