Hi there,

I reckon verb víkja comes from "vík" that is to go aside usully
follow that one comes back to the same side. Víkja sér frá skamma
stund:
Go away for a short while [come bake].

VikaPiltur that is an ErrandBoy.

Vik are 2 small v-formed baldness above the forehead the temples.
Do you have specific name for it in english?

Named also KollVik (Kollur is dim. for head). Eiga kollgátuna: Is to
have the right answer.

v-í-k do you see v-form in k. (as í translates to in)

vika (week) comes and goes like errand boy.

I think vík notes at least half round.

Something About vík.
