I must remember to use that line next time anyone insults me.

Hey there and heil, Patricia!

"No, that wasn't it. This was a seven letter word..."
"Um. Upstart?"
"How dare you!"

Please excuse me now while I relive the rest of Duck Soup in my head.

to print up your copy and keep along with Alan's it is great to have
a second opinion, I am trying to imagine what to study next, after
Old Norse, I must take up again with Old English, umm, that would be
pre-Chaucer would it not, I read that anyway

Old English 7th c. --> 1100.
Middle English 1100 ----> 1500.
Modern English 1500 ----> quarter to nine pm. this evening.
The Future ??????????????

I once went on a carousel when I was about five at the seaside,
really enjoyed myself, only to be hugely disappointed later when
someone told me that thus wasn't a proper go, because it was all
switched off. Thought I'd just share that with the group.
