hi, i am wondering if anyone can give some
advices.
i am planning to do some study on language contact
between users of
anglo saxon and of old norse.
1. Is there any good article or book as for introduction
to be recommended?
(Currently i have only got otto jespersen and matthew
townend on hand, which i found quite helpful.)
2. Among old norse source, is any source commonly
regarded good material for picking up anglo
saxon elements?
(i assume i should avoid skaldic poems as my purpose or
focus will be on language instead of literature analysis)
