Hello,

First of all, I apologize for my poor english. My name is
Ronald Narcisse, and I'm a young french novelist. My current novel
is a Heroic-Mythology story and since I can't read and speak a word
of Old Norse, I meet with a little problem. In fact, I have a small
list of weapons wich I'd like to name. I hope that you won't find me
cheeky, but your help could really, really, really help me. Could
you translate these few periphrasis for me, please (from english to
old norse) ? I would be very grateful to you.

- Stars-sower ?
- Shining star ?
- Shooting star ?
- Night-breaker ?
- The celestial ?

- Blood-drinker ?
- Burning blood ?
- Bloody flames ?
- Heart of fire ?
- The thirsty ?

- The hungry ?
- Hope-destructor ?
- Raging shadow ?
- Sharp shadow ?
- Heart of darkness ?

- Disaster-sceptre ?
- Bloody-wand ?
- Horror-sceptre ?
- Supreme mage ?
- Heart of earth ?
- Ground-swallower ?
- Mountains-maker ?
- The invincible ?

- The tormentor ?
- The lasher ?
- Flesh-tearer ?
- Wind-tearer ?
- The master of cyclons ?
- The one who have control over the wind ?
- The one who whips the wind ?
- The one who lacerates ?
- Heart of winds ?

If you'd refuse, I'd understand, of course. My novel is
nearly finished, and I just need to find interesting names for five
weapons : a spear, a sword, a halberd, a sceptre and a whip. To find
an old-icelandic translator is almost impossible on the Web -
especially for a french guy who doesn't speak english very well -,
and you're my last hope.

Cordially,

Ronald Narcisse
