Greetings Ragnar -- I found some lessons in the Files section of the
group.

I was wondering if there is any place we could go to hear the sounds
of the words/letters/etc. to be sure we are speaking/thinking the
words correctly.

I took a quarter of Norwegian in college (soooooo many years ago)
are the sounds about the same?

How simular is Old Norse to Icelandic?

I'm brand spanking new at all this myself.
