Hi Xigung

Freyfaxahamarr is definitely not the mountain in the background. My
recollection is that it is the ridge in the middle distance on the right
hand side of the photo; the gentle slopes in the foreground being where
Einarr rode Freyfaxi when looking for the sheep (although, from the
description in the text, he must have ridden him way beyond the ridge
and probably as far as the mountain).

I just took a look at all the photos.
Somehow I liked Aukureyri!
(I wonder why that was)

I am reading the Hrafnkel's saga now, and I am
very interested in any geographical information.
The Freyfaxihamarr, was that the mountain in the background?
