This was a dun-colored stallion with a dark stripe down its back, which he called his Freyfaxi.
 
I have a question about the last word "sinn" in the sentence.  I translated this as "his" going with hann, BUT I wonder if it is more of a redundant pronoun going with the horse because kallaði requires this construction??  I know that Welsh has a lot of similar redundant pronouns that we would not translate into English, but leave them out.  So in order words = "which he called (it) Freyfaxi?
