Greetings.  I have been a "lurker" for some time watching to see what was going on in here.  I am very interested in learning the Old Norse language, but am at a level far, far below the majority of those that post here.  In fact, I know absolutely nothing.  I have no background in languages at all.  So, if someone could please help me out with the very, very basic of the basics to help get me started, I would appreciate it very much.
