Ylgr - (Kvk.(kvenkyn - feminine), eignarfall(genitive) ylgjar,
þollfall og þágufall(accusitive and dative) ylgi) she-wolf
(dæmi(example): kom þar ylgr ein - see above!) related:
Ylgjast - (So.(sagnorð - verb) - reflexive) to frown, look gloomy
(dæmi(example): tekr veðrit at ylgjast (literally: takes the
weather to she-wolf itself = the weather gets wolfish
