Yes. Gothic is a lot of fun. Especially when you compare it with the
Proto-Norse of the elder runes.

Finding familiar bible-quotes and trying to work one's way through them
is also entertaining.

Jah jabai habau praufetjans jah witjau allaize runos jah all kunþi
jah habau alla galaubein, swaswe fairgunja miþsatjau, iþ friaþwa ni
habau, ni waihts im.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,
and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

In the quote above we can see many familiar words:

runos: mysteries - related to ON 'rún'
friaþwa: charity - related to ON 'friðr'
galauben: faith - related to German 'glauben'

Many will be familiar to speakers of all extant Germanic languages;
such as "habau" for 'have'.
