What's a House Book? What is recorded in one?

Very well.
1. The upper case thorn looks like this: 'Þ'.
The lower case one looks like this: 'þ'.
2. 'Halir Þórs' is correct Old Norse for something
like 'Thor's warriors'.
3. Ragnarr Gunnarsson is correct.
'Ragnar Gunnarrson' is considerably less so.
