I too used that web-site, because it has a very rich selection of ON texts.
However, when I looked more closely at particular texts that I wanted to
have hard copies of for my personal usage, I found there were an incredible
number of errors there. Perhaps it is a bit unjust to call them "errors",
since there are actually quite a few "variants" that have been produced
and published over the last century or so. But in the present case, the
web site never informs us what books the texts have been copied from,
and this fact makes it a very time-consuming task to "rectify" the files -
because you simply don't know what to compare it with !

This is what Bugge has!

But please also go to Bugge page 19, where the Cod. AM. 544, 4to.
version has been printed. The corresoponding line is here:
þau er ek fremz vm man.
A foot-note also comments "8. man, ikke nam."
which apparently means that some have read it as "nam", but
Bugge has had a closer look, and has seen that it actually says "man".

This one is much better, for a couple of reasons.
1. Sophus Bugge's edition is the standard when it comes to
staying as closely as possible to the actual medieval sources
themselves. Bugge's footnotes also discuss the variations
of each word in the different source texts themselves.
2. When in doubt about a particular word or sentence it
is always possible to find out what it said in Bugge's own work,
because you know the exact verse as well as page number,
and you also know the exact book title with all bibliographic
data available. What was missing last time i looked were actual
graphic images of each page, which can be helpful in case
someone doubts the electronic text version at a particular point.
