Just one question: Are these examples something
you have composed yourself, or are they genuine
ON texts? In the above, I'd think it would
have to be "lýsir", because that is what the
Sun does: it *shines* with an *s*.

The second line I do not understand.
That is because munr (m) can mean a lot of things.
(the sun shines all day, and yet it don't
shine on me?)
