Back when we were on the old BBS networks and had only ASCII, we had a fairly
simple "coding" that worked pretty well.

Thorn = TH
Edh = dh

dicritical marks following the letter (used to be translated by Windows to the
appropriate mark)

� a^e
� a*
� o/
� a'
� TH (THo'rr)
� dh or d` d\
o hooked on the bottom, o,
