I was looking over some Roman legal texts and came across the phrase "honestiores et humiliores," with a noble valuation of honestiores.
What i'm wondering is whether honestiores is related to Dardic honjesta, a Kalasha concept that has the valence of honor, but is gendered masculine and pure, versus feminine pragata, impure.
