are consistent with -ltl- (as much as l>n/0-l in daculum, etc.), and the reg. outcome of -ltl- in Gmc. isn't known ( * gilTla- > * gilTa- by dis., which could have occurred multiple times at dif. points for dif. words, leading to dif. outcomes); some def. can't be from -ls- . There's no reason to posit IE -ls- here, let alone * kWol- instead of * kal- .
